Waaree Wins 26.4 MWp Solar EPC Project Contract

Waaree Renewable Energy Technologies Limited has received a letter of award (LoA) worth Rs 652.2 million for engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of a 26.4 MWp solar power project. The project has been awarded by an Indian steel manufacturing company and is expected to be completed in 2024-25.

In May 2024, Waaree Energies Limited bagged an order for supplying 445 MW of its 540/545 Wp dual-glass bifacial modules to Statkraft for single-location photovoltaic projects in Bikaner, Rajasthan. In the same month, Waaree Energies Limited partnered with Ecofy, a non-banking finance company supported by Eversource Capital, to offer affordable financing for homeowners and micro, small, and medium enterprises installing rooftop solar systems.
