Waaree Energies Limited has received an order for the supply of 362.5 MWp of solar photovoltaic modules from a domestic entity engaged in developing and operating renewable power projects in India. Reportedly, the company did not disclose the name of the customer that placed the order.
According to a regulatory filing, the supply of modules is scheduled to commence in the financial year 2025-2026. The contract has been specified as a one-time order, with no current indication of recurring supply agreements.
Earlier this month, Waaree Energies Limited commenced commercial production at its 1,400 MW monocrystalline PERC (mono PERC) solar cell manufacturing facility in Chikhli, Gujarat, marking the first phase of its planned 5,400 MW solar cell manufacturing facility.
