Waaree Energies Limited has started production at its 1.8 GW solar module manufacturing facility in Chikhli, Gujarat. The facility increases Waaree’s total installed module production capacity to 16.8 GW per year.
Furthermore, the company also operates a 5.4 GW solar cell manufacturing line and is expanding its upstream and downstream capacities. Waaree is a Mumbai-based solar module manufacturer with manufacturing facilities in Gujarat, Noida, and the US.
Earlier in February 2025, Waaree secured an order to supply 410 MW of solar modules to Aditya Birla Renewables’ subsidiary, Aditya Birla Renewables EPC Limited.
