STMicroelectronics and ST Foundation India has been honored with the “CSR Project of the Year Award” by the Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IFCCI) for our groundbreaking “Digital Unify program”.

This prestigious award was presented at the 7th Edition of the IFCCI CSR Conclave and Awards 2025 in New Delhi. The event’s theme, “Local Frameworks, Global Goals, Digital Pathways,” highlighted the powerful connection between India’s progressive CSR policies and the global vision of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

This recognition celebrates our groundbreaking Digital Unify program in India — a heartfelt commitment to bridging the digital divide and empowering communities across India through technology and education, with +55,000 beneficiaries reached in just the last three years.

What makes Digital Unify special?

  • Tailored digital education for all ages and abilities
  • Inclusive programs for underprivileged, visually impaired, seniors, and children
  • Strong partnerships with NGOs and local stakeholders
  • Focus on sustainable digital ecosystems and community engagement

Chhavi Bajpai, STMicroelectronics IT Head and ST Foundation India Director shared her perspective during the panel discussion “an inclusive growth is possible and in ST, through our ST Foundation, we can create meaningful, lasting impact. We believe that digital inclusion is a cornerstone for sustainable development. The Digital Unify program exemplifies how targeted, community-driven efforts can transform lives and build resilient, empowered societies. This award reinforces our commitment to driving inclusive growth through technology and collaboration.”

The Digital Unify program is much more than an initiative—it’s our commitment to bridging the digital divide and empowering communities through technology. “In India, this program plays a pivotal role in fostering digital inclusion and literacy across diverse demographics,” shares Kamal Deep Jain, our Country Manager for India. “It is especially impactful in underprivileged areas where access to technology and digital education is still a challenge. We have touched the lives of more than 55,000 beneficiaries in just the last three years. This award is a proud recognition of the hard work and passion of our colleagues, partners, and volunteers who bring this vision to life.”

The program’s strength lies in its targeted projects designed to address the unique challenges faced by vulnerable populations, including Introduction to Computer Basics (ICB) for beginners, Tablet for Kids providing children with tablets preloaded with educational content, ICB for Visually Impaired People offering customized digital literacy courses with adaptive technologies, and Tablet for Seniors helping senior citizens navigate digital tools and stay connected.

IFCCI CSR Conclave & Awards

The IFCCI CSR Conclave & Awards is the flagship initiative of the IFCCI CSR Committee. This event, at its seventh edition in 2025, brings together an influential gathering of corporate leaders, CEOs, CSR and Sustainability Heads, policymakers, non-profit organizations, and other key stakeholders to explore the evolving landscape of Corporate Social Responsibility.
