Solex Energy Limited has commissioned an 800 MW high-speed manufacturing line for N-Type TOPcon rectangular cell-based modules at its facility in Surat, Gujarat.
The new production line is equipped with artificial intelligence (AI) and automated optical inspection (AOI), enhancing quality control and reducing manual intervention. It features India’s largest chamber laminators, enabling higher module laminations per cycle to improve efficiency. The facility will manufacture the Tapi-R series modules, which range from 585 Wp to 625 Wp and achieve a module efficiency of up to 23.14 per cent. These modules are designed for high performance in challenging environments, with a bifacial rate of approximately 80 per cent and a power temperature coefficient of -0.28 per cent/°C.
