SJVN has issued a request for selection for cumulative 18 MW grid-connected rooftop solar projects in Delhi, Punjab, Rajasthan, and Haryana. The deadline for bid submission is January 20, 2025. Selected bidders will be responsible for conducting site surveys, preparing feasibility reports, and designing, supplying, and storing equipment. They will also execute civil works, including installation, testing, commissioning, and warranty services, as well as comprehensive operation and maintenance (O&M) for 25 years. Grid connectivity and net metering for the projects must also be arranged by the successful bidders.
According to the tender guidelines, the bidders are required to submit an earnest money deposit of Rs 1,000 per kW of the quoted capacity, along with a tender fee of Rs 5,900. Bidders may submit proposals for more than one state, with a maximum total allocation of 18 MW for all projects combined.
According to the eligibility criteria, bidders must have designed, supplied, installed, and commissioned grid-connected rooftop or ground-mounted solar projects with a cumulative capacity of 500 kW over the past seven years, including at least one project with a capacity of 100 kW or more. Furthermore, the bidders must have a positive net worth for the past three years and a minimum average turnover of Rs 15,000 per kW of quoted capacity in the last three years. Additionally, bidders must demonstrate working capital, an in-principal sanction letter, or a line of credit from financial institutions for a minimum of Rs 16,700 per kW of quoted capacity for 2024.
