SJVN Green Energy Limited has issued a request for proposals to commission a 100 MW solar project. The plant will be located in the Didwana-Kuchaman district of Rajasthan.
According to the tender guidelines, the bidders are required to furnish Rs 122 million as an earnest money deposit. The developers will be responsible for operations and maintenance of project for a period of three years. The bid submission deadline is April 26, 2024.
The bidders must possess experience in developing, designing, constructing, and overseeing engineering, procurement, and construction tasks for solar power projects connected to the grid, each with a combined capacity of 30 MW or more. Furthermore, they should have completed at least one project with a capacity of 10 MW or greater, which has been operational for a minimum of three months prior to the bid opening date. Alternatively, the prospective bidders should have completed an industrial project within sectors such as power generation, steel manufacturing, oil and gas production, petrochemicals, fertiliser production, cement manufacturing, coal mining, or any other related process industry, with a value equivalent to Rs 1.83 billion for a single project. The specified reference project must have been operational for a minimum of six months prior to the bid opening. Furthermore, the bidders must have experience in successfully completing at least one electrical substation with a voltage level of 33 kV or higher, which includes essential equipment like circuit breakers and power transformers also rated at 33 kV or above. Moreover, the substation must have been operational for a minimum of one year before the bid opening.
In April 2024, SJVN Limited issued tender for appointment of developers to deliver inter-state transmission system connected 600 MW firm and dispatchable renewable energy with storage. The tender also includes an additional greenshoe option of 600 MW.
