Sharika Enterprises Partners with DGVCL for RDSS Feeder Automation Initiative

New Delhi : Sharika Enterprises Limited has been associated with a feeder automation initiative for Dakshin Gujarat Vij Company Limited (DGVCL) under the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS), aimed at strengthening distribution network reliability and operational efficiency.

As part of this initiative, Sharika Enterprises’ scope includes the supply of 11 kV feeder automation equipment, specifically 11 kV Sectionalizers, designed to support automated fault detection, isolation, and restoration in distribution networks. These solutions are aligned with DGVCL’s technical specifications and RDSS objectives for modernising power distribution infrastructure.

The deployment of feeder automation solutions will contribute to enhanced grid visibility, faster outage management, and improved service reliability, supporting utilities in delivering more resilient and efficient power supply.

Commenting on the development, Mr. Sanjay Verma, Executive Director, Sharika Enterprises Limited, said “Feeder automation is a critical element of RDSS-driven distribution modernisation. Our involvement in such initiatives reflects Sharika Enterprises’ continued focus on providing reliable, utility-grade automation solutions that support smarter and more responsive power networks.”

Sharika Enterprises has extensive experience in distribution automation, feeder protection, smart grid solutions, and utility-focused power infrastructure, and continues to support utilities across India in their transition towards digital and automated distribution systems.
