Sharika Enterprises bags 132kV underground Cable Project from UPPTCL

Sharika strengthens its high-voltage underground portfolio with this new UPPTCL project spanning more than 10.0 kilometers.

New Delhi : Sharika Enterprises Limited (SEL) has added another important project to its portfolio with Uttar Pradesh Power Transmission Corporation Limited (UPPTCL) awarding the company a turnkey contract for a 132kV underground cable system on the D/C Sonik–Sarain Katiyan/Murtazanagar stretch in Uttar Pradesh.

The project involves a significant stretch of more than 10.0 Kms of underground high-voltage transmission cable work. The scope includes comprehensive activities ranging from engineering and design to the supply, laying, jointing, testing, and commissioning of high-voltage XLPE cable systems. It also encompasses the associated civil and structural works that typically support the execution of underground transmission links.

For Sharika, this assignment further strengthens its steady expansion in the underground high-voltage segment, an area the company has been consistently developing and enhancing over the past few years through technical expertise, execution excellence, and advanced project capabilities.

Sharing his thoughts on the development, Mr. Ravinder Bhan, COO, Sharika Enterprises Limited said, “We are pleased to receive this order from UPPTCL. Projects of this nature help push the standards for underground transmission XLPE cable work, and we look forward to delivering it with the same attention to quality and reliability that our clients expect from us.”
