Shajan George Promoted Senior Director, Sales – R&M India

BENGALURU, India – R&M, a Swiss cabling systems developer and provider of high-quality fiber and copper solutions for network infrastructures around the world, announced the elevation of Shajan George as Senior Director, Sales – Private Networks, effective from June 16, 2021. Shajan, who has been leading the technology division as Technical Director, will now move to the new role for R&M’s India and SAARC region.

R&M’s private network division is an enterprise section which includes LAN solutions of office cabling, digital building and healthcare cabling along with transportation, data centers, private FTTH and more. Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal and Sri Lanka will get a renewed focus by Shajan to expand and utilize the market potential in these countries.

On this appointment, Gaurav Ahluwalia, Managing Director at R&M India said, “Shajan has been one of the pillars of R&M’s success in India. His contributions and collaborative efforts have helped R&M reach its current position. We are very excited to see his efforts to develop strategy and execute on the sales plan to expand our current market and newer verticals.”

Shajan George is an industry veteran with 27 years of rich experience in Sales and Technical background. He has been heading the Technical Team in India as Technical Director since 2007. Mr Shajan holds a Master’s in Business Administration, PG Diplomas in Sales & Marketing Management, and Labor Laws and Labor Welfare. He held the post as Vice-Chair & Chair of FTTH APAC Council Education & Training Committee respectively in 2017 & 2018.
