Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Limited (RUMSL) has issued a request for proposals to set up a 170 MW grid-connected ground mounted solar project. To be located in Neemuch solar park in Madhya Pradesh, the electricity produced from the project will be purchased by Madhya Pradesh Power Company Limited and West Central Railway.

According to the tender guidelines, the bidders are required to furnish Rs 157.8 million as an earnest money deposit. With three days of letter of award acceptance, the developers are required to submit Rs 2.32 million per MW as performance security. RUMSL will allocate land for the project under the terms and conditions outlined in the land use agreement.  The bid submission deadline is June 7, 2024.

RUMSL will offer bidders a separate land layout within the Neemuch solar park. It will allocate around 341 hectares for the project, which will be transferred to the solar project developer. RUMSL internal power evacuation infrastructure for the project at the Neemuch solar park site (project substation) will be provided by RUMSL. It consists of a single 33/220 kV outdoor sub-station that is related to and allocated to the project. The project substation will feature two 110 MVA transformers and five 220 kV bays, which will include transformer feeders, nine 33 kV circuit terminals for project connections, and a single-circuit 220 kV transmission line that links the 220 kV side of the project substation to a bay at the 220/400 kV substation.
