Refex Green Power, a subsidiary of Refex Renewables & Infrastructure, has established Refex Solar SPV Five Limited to develop a 100 MW solar power project awarded by NTPC Limited. Refex Solar SPV Five will serve as the solar power developer for this capacity. The project will operate under a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with NTPC. The commissioning of the project is planned to be completed within 24 months from the effective date of the PPA.

In October 2024, Refex Green secured a 100 MW capacity at a tariff of Rs 2.50 per kWh in NTPC’s 1.2 GW ISTS-connected solar auction, with the project requiring solar modules listed in List-I of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy’s Approved Models and Manufacturers of Solar Photovoltaic Modules.
