Pune – POWERCON Group has announced the appointment of Ms. Deepika Chavan as its Chief People Officer (CPO), reinforcing its commitment to building a strong organisational foundation as it enters its next phase of growth.

With around 2 decades of experience across IT, Renewables, FMCG, and EPC sectors, Deepika returns to POWERCON for her second stint, bringing deep familiarity with the organisation’s operating landscape and evolving business priorities. Her expertise spans across talent strategy, organisational design, performance management, learning & development, and talent coach across diverse industries.

Deepika has previously held key roles at organisations including Monster India, VA TECH WABAG, POWERCON, Sula, ITCube, and Tekdi Technologies. 

In her CPO role, she will work closely with the leadership team to align people strategy with business objectives, keeping a strong focus on strengthening leadership capability, enhancing organisational effectiveness, and driving consistency in people practices across the Group.

She will also lead the development of structured talent pipelines across POWERCON Group of companies, including CORE®, CFEE®, DataMann®, DroneMaster®, HT Infra®, PowerSun®, & PowerWind, leveraging her experience in capacity building and industry academia partnership to build a robust pool of deployment-ready talent.

Commenting on the appointment, Mr. Praveen Kakulte, Founder & CEO of The POWERCON Group said, “As POWERCON advances to be India’s unique Total Solution Provider (TSP) for the RE Industry; reinforcing strength, agility, and alignment is critical. Deepika’s experience and deep understanding of RE business positions her to contribute meaningfully to this explosive phase of growth. We are delighted to welcome her to the leadership team.” 

Sharing her thoughts, Ms. Deepika Chavan said, “POWERCON is at a pivotal stage in its growth journey, with a clear focus on expanding its RE footprint. I look forward to working closely with the team to further strengthen organisational capabilities in line with this vision.”

As POWERCON continues to expand its presence across multiple geographies along with major project hubs PAN India & oversight across 23 countries worldwide and a growing workforce of 700+ employees to serve global conglomerates, IPPs and OEMs reflect the scale and momentum of its operations.
