Oswal Pumps Limited has secured orders for 63 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar projects in Bihar under the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana. The projects have been awarded by North Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited and South Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited, and cover 57,492 household installations across the Motihari, Saharsa, and Ara. The order is valued at around Rs 2.47 billion, with an additional estimated long-term revenue potential of Rs 2.57 billion from energy supply over a period of 10 years.

According to the order specifications, the projects will be developed under the capital expenditure plus renewable energy service company model, with Oswal Pumps responsible for design, engineering, procurement, installation, commissioning, financing, and operations and maintenance for 10 years. The projects are expected to be completed within nine months of signing the power purchase agreements.
