NTPC Green Energy Limited has released a tender for bifacial crystalline solar modules supply for a 600 MW solar power project located in Gujarat. The project is owned by Indian Oil NTPC Green Energy, a joint venture between NTPC Green Energy Limited and Indian Oil Corporation Limited.
According to the tender guidelines, the scope of projects includes manufacturing, packing and forwarding, and transportation of solar bifacial modules, each with a minimum nominal rating of 570 W. The modules must be listed in the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers. A minimum capacity of 378.75 MW (one block) and a maximum of 757.50 MW (two blocks) is allowed in the bidding process. The bidders are required to submit a bid security amount of Rs 100 million for one block and Rs 200 million for two blocks. The deadline for bid submission is July 3, 2025.
According to the eligibility criteria, the bidders must have previously supplied solar modules or cells with a cumulative capacity of at least 40 MW, including one supply order of a minimum of 10 MW. Alternatively, group companies, holding companies, or subsidiaries are also eligible, provided that they furnish a letter of undertaking confirming they have jointly executed a supply order meeting the same criteria. Furthermore, the bidders must demonstrate an average annual turnover of Rs 900 million for one block and Rs 1.8 billion for two blocks. They must have a minimum net worth equivalent to 100 per cent of their paid-up share capital.
