Out of the 90 MW Anta solar photovolatic plant at Anta, Rajasthan, NTPC Limited has announced the commercial operation date of the first phase capacity of 57 MW. As a result, the overall installed and commercial capacity of NTPC has increased to 76,015 MW for group operations and 59,135 MW for standalone operations.
Recently, in May 2024, NTPC Renewable Energy Limited issued tender for engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of a 260 MW grid-connected solar project in Bikaner, Rajasthan.
In April 2024, Indus Towers Limited and NTPC Green Energy Limited signed MoU to collaboratively develop clean energy projects to supply power for its business operations across the nation.
