Reportedly, NLC India Limited has received a letter of award from NTPC Limited for developing a 450 MW interstate transmission system connected wind-solar hybrid power project.
The project will be implemented for 300 MW in Bikaner, Rajasthan and 150 MW in Bhuj, Gujarat. Power will be supplied to NTPC for a period of 25 years under a power purchase agreement. The full capacity is scheduled to be commissioned within 24 months from the effective date of the agreement.
