Lubi Pumps, a manufacturer of water pumps and motors, has commissioned a 4 MW solar power plant.
The project includes 7,270 mono-passivated emitter and rear cell bifacial solar modules, which were manufactured by Lubi Solar at their Ahmedabad plant. The plant has the capacity to produce 22,000 units per day and around 7 million units annually. The plant will primarily be used for captive purposes, especially for foundry operations. Lubi Group plans to invest further in the coming years to double the capacity at the same site, addressing the energy needs of additional Lubi manufacturing plants.
