KPI Green Energy Limited has secured an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) order worth approximately Rs 20.25 billion from NACOF Oorja Private Limited (NOPL) for a 500 MW/550 MWp solar photovoltaic project in Bikaner, Rajasthan.
The project is being developed as part of NOPL’s 5,000 MW solar photovoltaic power park at Dantoor village in Khajuwala tehsil. Under the turnkey contract, KPI Green will undertake the design, engineering, procurement, installation, testing and commissioning of the project, including the associated civil and electrical works. The scope also covers a 33 kV transmission line, evacuation bay and supervisory control and data acquisition and monitoring systems. The project is scheduled for completion within 12 months of handing over the site.
