New Delhi – KPI Green Energy Limited for its 100 MW (AC) / 128 MW (DC) grid-connected, ground-mounted solar PV project executed for Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Limited (MAHAGENCO). The project is located at Ramthi, Narkhed, in Nagpur district, Maharashtra, and was executed by the company on a Turnkey EPC basis, covering the full scope from engineering and procurement to construction and commissioning.
The charging permission, granted by the Chief Electrical Inspectorate, is a key regulatory clearance that allows the solar plant to be energized and connected to the grid, marking a critical milestone in the project’s execution timeline.
“Our entry into Maharashtra with a project for MAHAGENCO is a significant step in our growth journey. Partnering with a state utility of this scale reaffirms the confidence public-sector players continue to place in our execution capabilities. This project strengthens our pan-India presence and reflects our commitment to supporting the country’s clean energy transition through reliable, large-scale solar delivery,” said Dr. Faruk Patel, Chairman and Managing Director, KPI Green Energy Limited.
With this development, KPI Green Energy establishes its operational presence in Maharashtra for the first time, adding MAHAGENCO, a leading state-run power utility, to its growing list of public-sector clients. The project reinforces the company’s track record in delivering utility-scale, grid-connected solar infrastructure across India, and adds to its expanding EPC portfolio.
