Kosol Energie Honoured at WISE Awards 2026 at National Women in Energy Summit

Mrs. Chandani Sabhani from Kosol Energie has been honoured with the “Women at the Frontlines: Manufacturing” recognition at the 3rd National Women in Energy Summit 2026, organised by the National Solar Energy Federation of India (NSEFI) under the Women in Solar Energy (WISE) platform.

The award was presented during the summit in the presence of industry leaders, policymakers, and renewable energy experts who gathered to acknowledge the vital role of women in shaping the future of sustainable energy. Mrs. Chandani Sabhani received the honour under the “Women at the Frontlines: Manufacturing” category, recognising her leadership and contribution to strengthening India’s solar manufacturing ecosystem. The award was presented to her by Deepa Bagai, a former IAS officer and Chairman of the National Research Development Corporation (NRDC).

The recognition celebrates women leaders who are making remarkable contributions to India’s renewable energy sector. The WISE Awards recognise professionals who are driving innovation, leadership, and inclusivity while strengthening the country’s clean energy ecosystem.The award ceremony was attended by several distinguished leaders and policymakers from the energy sector. Energy; and Sudeep Jain, Member Secretary of the National Commission for Women.

The awards ceremony was graced by the Chief Guest, Aparajita Sarangi, Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha (Bhubaneswar, Odisha), who highlighted the importance of women’s leadership in accelerating India’s sustainable energy transition.

The National Women in Energy Summit serves as a significant platform to highlight the growing role of women professionals across various segments of the energy industry, including manufacturing, technology, research, and leadership. The summit also focuses on encouraging greater gender diversity and participation in the renewable energy sector.
