The Hinduja Group has committed Rs 25 billion for investments in Tamil Nadu, spanning renewable energy, electric mobility, financial services, battery-charging infrastructure and digital mobility solutions.
As part of this, Hinduja Renewables Energy plans to develop over 200 MW of renewable energy capacity in the state through solar, wind and battery projects. The proposed projects will be explored across Tirunelveli, Thoothukudi, Virudhunagar, Madurai and Coimbatore, subject to land and connectivity support. Additionally, OHM Global Mobility will deploy electric buses for public transport in the state and expand its mobility solutions value chain. The group will also explore opportunities in automotive, financial services, energy, battery-charging infrastructure and digital mobility solutions.
