Greenzo Energy Wins TANGEDCO Green Hydrogen Project

Greenzo Energy India Limited has bagged a green hydrogen project from by the Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Limited (TANGEDCO). The project will be developed at the 2×660 MW Ennore SEZ Supercritical thermal power plant which is owned by TANGEDCO in Tamil Nadu. Greenzo Energy will establish a hydrogen generation plant with a 20 normal cubic meters (Nm3) capacity of hydrogen per hour. The electrolysers for this project will be designed and manufactured at the company’s own facility in Sanand, Gujarat.

TANGEDCO has assigned Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) as the project engineering management company for this project. With the addition of this project, Greenzo Energy’s order book has risen to Rs 12 billion.

In March 2024, Greenzo Energy launched its 1 MW Alkaline Electrolyser in India.
