Gentari and Amazon Web Services (AWS) have inked a power purchase agreement (PPA) for a 80 MW wind power project in Tamil Nadu, India. The project is expected to commence operations in mid-2027 and is anticipated to generate around 300,000 MWh of renewable energy annually.

The PPA follows a collaboration agreement inked in 2023 and advances Gentari’s goal of delivering new, cost-effective, utility-scale renewable energy projects. Gentari is a clean energy solutions company. In India, the company’s renewable energy business has a growing portfolio of solar, wind, and battery storage projects designed to serve commercial, industrial, and utility-scale customers.
