Gensol Engineering Wins 22 MW Solar Project in Punjab

Gensol Engineering Limited has been awarded a turnkey solar project by a steel products company in Punjab. The project involves the development of a 22 MW ground-mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) power plant with a total contract value of Rs 880 million. The project is scheduled to be completed within six months.

Furthermore, the project will utilise high-efficiency bifacial solar modules to optimise energy output and ensure long-term durability. The scope of the project includes design, engineering, procurement, and construction of the solar plant, aimed at enabling the steel company to transition to more sustainable energy practices. 

In August 2024, Gensol Engineering bagged a 16 MW rooftop solar project in Madhya Pradesh on an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) basis with an estimated timeline of six months.
