Gautam Solar has established a new solar module manufacturing facility in Bhiwani, Haryana, completing the process from land acquisition to full-scale operations within a year. Spanning over 60 acres, the fully automated facility has already contributed to surpassing a 2 GW manufacturing capacity, with further expansion underway.
Two advanced high-speed production lines sourced from Tier-1 machine suppliers are currently being installed, integrating the latest technological advancements. These additions are expected to increase the total production capacity to 3.2 GWp by March 2025. The company aims to further scale up operations, targeting a total capacity of 5 GW by the end of the year.
In October 2024, Gautam Solar announced plans to expand its solar module manufacturing capacity to 5 GW by 2025 in three phases, with completion scheduled for November 2024, January 2025, and April 2025, alongside a Rs 10 billion solar cell expansion plan funded through an IPO expected within 12-18 months to establish a 2 GW solar cell plant.
