Encavis AG and Innovar Solar GmbH have entered into an agreement to develop solar projects in Germany, targeting a total capacity of 500 MW. This agreement involves a continuous development approach, where new projects will be initiated as existing ones advance, ensuring that 500 MW of solar capacity is developed simultaneously.
If certain projects do not reach the ready-to-build (RTB) stage within a specified timeframe, the agreement allows for adjustments and new projects to replace them. Development of these projects is already underway. Furthermore, this collaboration accelerates the realisation of innovative solar projects and advances Germany’s energy transition.
Earlier this year, Encavis acquired a Spanish solar park portfolio from BayWa r.e. The Almodóvar solar park is a 95 MW solar farm and is already under construction. It is located in Andalucía near the city of Córdoba and has an annual generation of 187 GWh.
