Bondada Engineering Limited has secured an allocation from the Andhra Pradesh government – Energy Department for developing a 2,000 MW alternating current (AC) / 2,600 MWp direct current (DC) solar power project across Ananthapuramu and Sri Sathya Sai districts.
The allocation was approved during the state investment promotion board. The company had submitted proposals for setting up projects in villages located in the Roddam and Kothacheruvu mandals of Sri Sathya Sai district, and Gooty, Peddavadugur, Vidapanakallu, Peddapappur, and Narpala mandals of Ananthapuramu district. The project will be implemented within 24 months, in line with the Andhra Pradesh integrated clean energy policy – 2024.
