Apollo Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has launched a new subsidiary, AGEL Renewable Energy Limited, to focus on utility-scale solar projects and energy storage solutions, including hydrogen-based systems. The subsidiary aims to expand AGEL’s presence in India’s renewable energy sector by developing large-scale projects that integrate innovative storage technologies.
Additionally, AGEL Renewable Energy Limited plans to develop a 1,000 MW renewable energy portfolio with an investment of Rs 5 billion in the coming years. Reportedly, the company will actively participate in government tenders and establish power purchase agreements with utilities and commercial consumers.
