Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has operationalised a 250 MW solar power project at Bhimsar and Dwada in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, through its wholly-owned step down subsidiary, Adani Green Energy Twenty Four Limited. The plant was commissioned following the necessary clearances, with operations commencing on February 21, 2025, and power generation beginning on February 22, 2025.
With the addition of this project, AGEL’s total operational renewable energy capacity has increased to 11,916.1 MW. The company reported the development in an exchange filing, highlighting the expansion of its renewable portfolio.
In December 2024, AGEL established Adani Green Energy Sixty Eight Limited under Adani Renewable Energy Holding Nine Limited to expand its renewable energy portfolio, focusing on wind, solar, and other clean energy sources, with an authorised and paid-up capital of Rs 100,000 and full ownership retained by its parent entity.
