ACME Cleantech Solutions Private Limited, a subsidiary of the ACME Group, has signed a long-term offtake agreement with the Japanese firm Mitsubishi Gas Chemical Company. The agreement, signed for a period of 10 years, covers the supply of green methanol.

Under the agreement, ACME will supply Mitsubishi Gas Chemical Company around 100,000 tonnes per annum of green methanol from its Paradip facility. The project is aimed at supporting global decarbonisation efforts, especially in the maritime sector, and is designed to meet European Renewable Fuels of Non-Biological Origin requirements as well as International Maritime Organization standards for cleaner marine fuels.
