Sungrow held a formal ceremony in New Delhi to inaugurate its Indian Factory of 10 GW annual manufacturing capacity. This achievement is an outstanding response to “Make in India” Initiative of Govt of India and demonstrates Sungrow’s commitment to “Atmanirbhar Bharat”. With this magnificent production capacity, Sungrow will better the reach to its customers locally and globally with high-quality products, lesser lead time and better service experience.

Sungrow is honored to have Mr. Bhagwanth Khuba, the Minister of State for New and Renewable Energy, Govt of India virtually inaugurate the manufacturing unit, as well as its distinguished customers including SJVNL, Tata Power, Adani Green Energy, Amplus, LNB Renewable Energy and Fourth Partner Energy to send their best wishes and compliment to the 10 GW milestone. Mr. Bhagwanth Khuba said: “Sungrow has been serving Indian solar market since 2014, and more than 11 GW inverters have been supplied to India. With this 10 GW manufacturing unit, Sungrow can cater to different customer segments including residential, commercial & industrial, utility-scale levels and the customers worldwide. I appreciate this step of Sungrow, as well as its long-term development plan, which can help to realize our ambition of renewable energy mission. In the future, I hope Sungrow can keep leading this market and set the benchmark for Indian solar industry, for the success of ‘Make in India’ Initiative.”

One of the biggest highlights of the ceremony was the launch of new products both string and central type. Sungrow’s SG350HX and “1+X” Modular Inverter make a formal debut in India Market. SG350HX features a maximum output power of 352 kW, supporting large-format high-efficiency and bifacial PV modules and guaranteeing an incomparable return of investment for stakeholders. Sungrow’s most innovative “1+X” Modular Inverter is expected to lead the next generation inverter designation for large-scale utility solar plants. With three-level modularization, “1+X” Modular Inverter makes power plant design more flexible and post O&M more convenient in the future.

Mr. Sunil Badesra, Country Head of Sungrow India expressed “Sungrow is very proud to be the only company which manufactures all types of PV plus ESS equipment domestically for Indian market and it also creates enormous opportunities for investment attraction and employment. In the future, we will work even harder to further strengthen the supply chain and assure the stable and efficient delivery for our customers.”
