Bajel Projects Limited has received an order worth Rs 2 billion-Rs 3 billion from Tata Power Company Limited for engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of 220 kV gas-insulated switchgear (GIS) substations at Salsette and Powai in Mumbai.
The order has been divided into two packages, which involve the supply and installation of 220 kV GIS at the Salsette Receiving Station and a 220 kV outdoor GIS substation at the Powai Receiving Station. The projects are scheduled to be completed within 18 months from the date of issuance of the purchase order.
