JSW Neo Energy Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of JSW Energy Limited, has commissioned the entire 150 MW capacity of Tidong Power Generation Private Limited, a run-of-river hydropower project located in the Tidong Valley in Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh. The project has been commissioned ahead of the previously indicated timeline of October 2026.

Tidong Power has a long-term power purchase agreement with Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited for supply of 75 MW during the May-October period at a tariff of Rs 5.57 per kWh. The project is JSW Energy’s fourth hydro asset in Himachal Pradesh. With this commissioning, the company has added about 445 MW of capacity in the first quarter of FY27 to date, comprising 225 MW of wind, 70 MW of solar and 150 MW of hydro capacity. Its total installed capacity has accordingly increased to around 13,900 MW.
