Neoen has announced investment in the 100 MW/400 MWh Japan Ako Battery project. Neoen is partnering with Equans and Toho for the project, and secured a grid connection agreement with Kansai Electric Power Company in January 2026. The project is a four-hour battery system and is scheduled to become operational in 2028.

In February 2026, Neoen initiated construction of three new solar farms in France with a combined capacity of 230 MWp, all scheduled to become operational by 2028. The projects include the Le Couret agrisolar project with a capacity of 147 MWp in the Haute-Vienne department, along with the Isle-sur-Marne solar farm of 48 MWp and the Matignicourt floating solar farm of 35 MWp both located in the La Marne department.

In November 2025, Neoen reached an agreement to sell a 760 MW segment of its operational renewable energy portfolio in France to Plenitude, a subsidiary of Eni. The portfolio covers 52 projects, comprising 37 solar farms, 14 onshore wind projects and one battery energy storage system (BESS) facility. Neoen will continue managing these projects for some more years under an asset management arrangement.
