NLC India Limited has fully commissioned its 300 MW Barsingsar solar power project in Bikaner district, Rajasthan. The project has been implemented under the central public sector undertaking scheme of the Union Ministry of New and Renewable Energy.
The plant achieved full commissioning with the completion of the third and final phase, with a capacity of 141.17 MW. The first phase of the project, with a capacity of 52.83 MW, was commissioned in August 2025. Subsequently, the second phase with a capacity of 106 MW was commissioned in November 2025.
Earlier this month, NLC India Limited inked a MoU with the Gujarat government for the development of large-scale renewable energy projects in the state.
Furthermore, in December 2025, NLC India Limited secured a letter of award for the development of a 110 MWac grid-connected solar photovoltaic power project.
