ACME Cleantech Solutions Private Limited (ACME) has emerged as the winner of Solar Energy Corporation of India’s (SECI) green ammonia auction under the Strategic Interventions for Green Hydrogen Transition Programme (Mode-2A–Tranche-I). ACME will supply 100,000 tonnes per annum (TPA) of green ammonia at IFFCO Paradeep. The capacity was secured at a tariff of Rs 49.75 per kg.
Furthermore, this marks ACME’s fourth win in a planned series of 13 green ammonia auctions, under a tender aggregating a cumulative procurement capacity of 724,000 tonnes per year.
Moreover, this is SECI’s ninth auction of the ongoing series. Earlier this month, ACME won the eight green ammonia auction at a tariff of Rs 54.73 per kg to supply 100,000 TPA of green ammonia to Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited at Kandla, Gujarat, for 10 years.
