Oswal Energies Limited has commenced its Rs 3.2 billion green hydrogen project with the receipt of the first 1 MW electrolyser stack. The delivery from Greenzo Energy India Limited marks the operational launch of a 20 MW green hydrogen project under a build-operate-transfer model.
The project aims to supply green hydrogen to the chemical and fertiliser sectors, with plant capacities ranging from 0.5 MW to 5 MW expected to be commissioned over the next 12 to 18 months. Under the arrangement, Greenzo Energy will provide its domestically developed electrolyser stacks and integrated balance of plant systems for the project.
Additionally, Oswal Energies will oversee engineering, procurement, and construction responsibilities, utilising its experience in oil, gas, and clean energy infrastructure. The initiative is part of Oswal’s ongoing focus on expanding its clean energy portfolio, including hydrogen, carbon capture, and compressed biogas solutions.
