Toyota Kirloskar Motor Private Limited has signed a MoU with Ohmium International to explore opportunities for the development of green hydrogen solutions in India. The initiative aims to enhance the scalability, efficiency, and affordability of green hydrogen for various applications.

The scope of the collaboration includes harmonising Toyota’s proton exchange membrane (PEM) fuel cell technologies, supported by Toyota Motor Corporation Japan, with Ohmium’s hyper modular PEM electrolyser systems, which are designed for low-cost and rapid deployment. Ohmium’s systems include advanced power electronics and closed-loop cooling technologies.
