Torrent Power Limited has signed a long-term sales and purchase agreement (SPA) with BP Singapore Pte. Limited, a subsidiary of the global energy major bp, for the supply of up to 0.41 million metric tonnes per annum of liquefied natural gas (LNG).
The supply period will span from 2027 to 2036. The deal is expected to support Torrent Power’s fuel security and energy mix diversification strategy for its power generation operations.
