Telangana Issues Bids for 56 MW Solar Project DPR

The Telangana Power Generation Corporation has issued a tender for preparing a detailed project report (DPR) for solar projects with a cumulative capacity of 56 MW. The scope includes a 15 MW floating solar project on a raw water reservoir at Yadadri Thermal Power Station, a 28 MW ground-mounted solar project on vacant land at Kakatiya Thermal Power Project, and a 13 MW floating solar project on a raw water reservoir at Kakatiya Thermal Project. The estimated contract value stands at Rs 1.3 million. The deadline for bid submission is March 21, 2025.

According to the tender guidelines, the bidders are required to pay a transaction fee of 0.03 per cent of the contract value, capped at Rs 10,000 for quoted values up to Rs 500 million. For works exceeding Rs 500 million, the transaction fee is set at Rs 25,000. Additionally, a security deposit of 2.5 per cent of the contract value is mandated, alongside a money deposit of Rs 6,480 and a permanent fixed deposit of Rs 250,000. Successful bidders must also contribute a corpus fund of 0.04 per cent of the contract value, capped at Rs 10,000 for works valued up to Rs 500 million, while the requirement for projects exceeding this threshold is Rs 25,000.

According to the eligibility criteria, the bidders must have prior experience in consultancy services related to feasibility studies and DPR preparation. Furthermore, they must have completed at least one floating solar project and one ground-mounted solar project in India within the last five financial years. Additionally, they must demonstrate a minimum annual financial turnover of Rs 388,800 for at least two of the last three financial years.
