The Ministry of Heavy Industries (MHI) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Reliance New Energy Battery Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Reliance Industries Limited, for the allocation of 10 GWh advanced chemistry cell (ACC) manufacturing capacity under the production linked incentive (PLI) scheme for ACC battery storage.
This agreement makes Reliance New Energy eligible for incentives under the Rs 181 billion PLI ACC scheme. With this signing, a cumulative capacity of 40 GWh has been awarded under the scheme.
