NTPC Signs MoU to Advance Green Hydrogen Mobility in Odisha

NTPC Limited has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with GRIDCO, a Government of Odisha undertaking, and Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT), the state’s public transit agency, to advance green hydrogen mobility in Bhubaneswar.

The agreement focuses on the establishment of a green hydrogen fuelling station and the deployment of hydrogen-powered buses for both short- and long-distance operations in the city. Supported partially by funding from the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, the project is a significant step towards promoting sustainable urban mobility and reducing emissions in Odisha’s capital.
