The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Mahatma Phule Renewable Energy and Infrastructure Technology Limited (MAHAPREIT) to promote renewable energy, decarbonisation, energy efficiency, and environmental compliance in Maharashtra.
The agreement aims to establish a framework for advancing clean energy solutions and sustainability in the state. Under this collaboration, FICCI and MAHAPREIT will work to facilitate renewable energy projects, support industries in adopting decarbonization practices, implement energy efficiency measures for large-scale industries and small and medium enterprises, and ensure environmental compliance in line with government policies.
