Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL) has commissioned a 431 MW DC solar project in Neemuch, Madhya Pradesh. The project spans over 1,635.63 acres and incorporates a combination of single-axis trackers and bi-facial modules, which will improve the system efficiency by over 15 per cent. The installation includes 560 Wp and 565 Wp bifacial glass-to-glass modules.

The project is expected to offset approximately 780,300 tonnes of carbon dioxide annually and provide power to Western Central Railways and Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company Limited. The system complies with CEA standards, ensuring optimal performance through SCADA commissioning, and integrates harmonic filters to meet WRLDC compliance.

In November 2024, TPREL commissioned a 126 MW floating solar project in Omkareshwar, Madhya Pradesh, awarded by NHDC Limited for Rs 5.96 billion, using 213,460 bifacial glass-to-glass modules over a 260-hectare water body.
