The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with H2Global to enhance knowledge exchange on market mechanisms and foster international cooperation in green hydrogen. The MoU aims to strengthen ties between India and hydrogen-importing countries.
The partnership will focus on joint tender design to support India’s goal of becoming a global export hub for green hydrogen and its derivatives. Insights into global hydrogen markets, trade logistics, and stakeholder engagement as a part of the collaboration will further bolster India’s green hydrogen initiatives.
In August 2024, SECI put out a Call for Proposals to set up two green hydrogen hubs in India under the National Green Hydrogen Mission, offering up to Rs 1 billion CFA per hub.
