National High Power Test Laboratory Private Limited’s (NHPTL) board has approved the transfer of 13.1 million equity shares from NHPC Limited to Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (Powergrid).
This transaction reduces NHPC’s equity holding in NHPTL from 20 per cent to 12.50 per cent, causing NHPTL to cease being an associate company of NHPC.
