Sub Holding PLN Indonesia Power, a subsidiary of PT PLN (Persero), has signed a joint development study agreement with China Energy Engineering Group Company Limited to develop green energy projects in Sulawesi in Indonesia.
The collaboration aims to enhance Indonesia’s renewable energy ecosystem, including hydro, geothermal, solar, and wind-based generators, along with establishing green transmission lines. PLN is aiming for an energy transition which aligns with the country’s goal of achieving net zero emissions by 2060.
