ACEN, BrightNight partner for 1 GW renewable capacity in the Philippines

ACEN, a subsidiary of the Ayala Group, has teamed up with US-based BrightNight for the development, construction, and operation of an initial 1 GW renewable energy project in the Philippines. BrightNight plans to invest approximately USD1.2 billion by 2029.

In addition to financial backing, ACEN will offer BrightNight additional resources to support its projects. ACEN will leverage its domestic presence, partnership network, and expertise across the regional energy value chain to further bolster the collaboration. ACEN has set a target to acquire 20 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2030.
