Suzlon Secures 72.45 MW Contract for 3 MW Wind Turbines

Suzlon Group announced that it has secured a 72.45 MW contract from Juniper Green Energy for its 3 MW wind turbine generators (WTGs). The project is situated in Dwarka district in Gujarat. Suzlon is set to deploy 23 WTGs featuring a hybrid lattice tubular tower, each with a rated capacity of 3.15 MW. This marks the company’s largest order for its turbines – the S144-140m, with a 3.15 MW rating, belonging to the 3 MW series. Under the terms of the agreement, Suzlon will be responsible for supplying wind turbines and executing and erecting the project, including the commissioning phase. Suzlon will also handle extensive operations and maintenance services after the commissioning process.

In December 2023, Suzlon Group announced that it has secured a 100.8 MW contract from Nordic Energy for its 3 MW WTGs in Karnataka. In the same month, Suzlon Group secured a contract for setting up 193.2 MW wind project. This project was a part of KP Group’s wind-solar hybrid and tariff-based project, aimed at increasing the share of renewable energy in Gujarat.

In September 2023, Suzlon Group secured a contract from Bright Night for setting up 29.4 MW wind capacity at Osmanabad, Maharashtra.
